Lemon Cake Mix Cookies

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 egg
  • 1 box lemon cake mix (no pudding)
  • 1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix all together.
  2. Roll off a spoon into powdered sugar which will make a ball.
  3. Place on greased and floured cookie sheet.
  4. Bake quickly at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

 

Lemonade Sugar Cookies

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (6 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate thawed
  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 and 3/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cream butter with sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Sift flour with baking soda, and add to the creamed mixture, alternately with 1/2 cup of the lemonade concentrate.
  4. Set the rest of the concentrate aside to use later.
  5. Drop batter by the tablespoon about 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees, or until the edges of the cookies begin to turn brown.
  7. Take the cookies from the oven, and while they are still warm, brush them with the remaining concentrate and sprinkle lightly with sugar.
